For more than half a century an international project has tried to find a higher entrance to the mighty Hirlatzhöhle in the Dachstein (Austria) and finally we have succeeded. The connection between Wot U Got Pot (WUG) and the Hirlatzhöhle makes this system 1560m deep & 113km long, meaning that it's the 9th deepest & the 19th longest cave in the world.
In the future the total system could be 2.2km deep & 500km long but that is a job for next year...
